Our partners have more than 50 combined years of classroom experience in the disciplines of learning disabilities, psychological impairments and speech and language delays, including evaluation, and design and implementation of corrective programs. Recognizing a need for additional comprehensive testing services outside existing school district resources, they formed CST in 2002 to:
Provide school districts with external certified professional support in assessing learning impairments and planning
appropriate educational programs
Offer parents an educational assessment option supplemental to the services offered and/or supplied by their school
Maryellen Reid – EdS, ABSNP
Maryellen is a certified school psychologist and also holds an Educational Specialist degree. She is certified by the American Board of School Neuropsychology to conduct neuropsychological evaluations. She was employed for more than 30 years in school districts in Bergen, Passaic and Morris counties.

Jean Sluka – MA
Jean is a certified learning disabilities teacher-consultant and has served in the Mahwah Public Schools. Prior to that Jean served as the Child Study Team Director in
and the Supervisor of Instruction at The Children's Institute, a private school for autistic and emotionally disturbed students. She is a graduate of Seton Hall University.
