Mrs. Munoz comes to Jefferson Elementary School
as principal from Mount Olive where she worked as an Elementary
Instructional Supervisor.
Mrs. Munoz has 27 years experience in public
education. She was a classroom teacher for four years,
a basic skills instructor for 20 years, and has spent the last
three years as an Elementary Instructional Supervisor.
Mrs. Munoz has experience teaching pre-school through
graduate school, including a position as an adjunct professor
at the County College of Morris.
Mrs. Munoz completed her undergraduate work at
Ball State University in Indiana and holds a Masters Degree
in Professional Education from Seton Hall and a second Masters
in Educational Administration from New Jersey City State
University.
Mrs. Munoz was the recipient of three NJCI -
Geraldine Dodge Foundation Grants 2002 - 2003.
Mrs. Munoz has resided in Westfield for seven
years with her husband Jose. They have two daughters,
Tara and Jennifer. Her hobbies include cooking, golf and tennis.
